Breaking News: Lt. Colonel Without Name Tag Comes Out To Renounce Speech Against Nigerian Military

Lt. Col. Wende denounces writing the letter to President Jonathan

Since the Lieutenant Colonel Wende wrote the letter to President Goodluck Jonathan, exposing the anomalies and corrupt practices by some senior officers in the Nigerian Military, as regards to misappropriation and looting of funds allocated for the purchase of ammunitions for the fight against Boko Haram, reactions and mixed reactions have continued to trail that issue.


This led to the threatening of the said Lt. Col. Wende and the members of his family to come out renounce that statement or face court-martial, in which according to news that he has refused to give-in or succumb to their threat.

Just today, according to Sahara Reporters,a military man has been presented before the press wearing military outfit depicting of a Lieutenant Colonel, but without any name tag on it, claiming to be  Lt. Col. Wende, as he has denounced being the author of that letter to President Jonathan.

It was stated that whoever that wrote that letter was only trying to foster atmosphere of violence and as well cause chaos within the country.

  1. This is Nigeria where everything goes, how can a military appear to the entire nation without a name tag on his uniform? What is our convictions that he's truly a soldier at first let alone to talk about the said Lt. Col Wende. It's ridiculous. Nigeria will never change unless there is a sincere confession by everyone.
