The Inspector General of Police, has earlier today stated that henceforth, the Police departments within the country has been ordered to carry out the promotion of Junior officers to the rank of seniors.
The Police Chief said, that all junior police officers with the appropriate qualifications of Bsc degree, High National Diploma (HND) as well as Ordinary National Diploma (OND) must be promoted to the rank of senior police officers to maintain equity and good stewardship in the Nigerian Police force.
This will enable the officers to work hard as to acquire good qualifications knowing fully well that it will enhance their career in the force, as well as grant them the required experiences to discharge their duties accordingly.
