Retired General Muhammadu Buhari, APC Presidential Aspirant
Yesterday, following the All Progressive Congress (APC) convention that was held in Lagos, one of the strongest Presidential aspirant of the party, Rtd. General Muhammadu Buhari, humbly made a clarion call to all the party delegates to accord him their support towards his aspiration of flying the party's Presidential flag.
He informed then, that he may not be a money bag, and therefore does not have any to give to them, but that all he can offer is his true loyalty and honesty in service, if they permit him to emerge as their candidate.
“I seek to be the next president of our beloved nation because I believe I have something to offer Nigeria at this time of multiple crises. Insecurity, corruption, and economic collapse have brought the nation low. Time is past due that we work together to lift Nigeria up. I am ready to lead Nigeria to its rightful future.”

I know that Buhari will definitely win the APC guber race, that is so certain, because amongst all the aspirants there, he still seem the only who's poised and posited for selfless service, and patriotic leadership.
ReplyDeleteMuhammadu Buhari a man with good sense of leadership. He's truly a disciplined man, and hopefully, he'll win this contest, to bring Nigeria out of this doldrums that poor leadership full of corruption and avarice has taken it to.
ReplyDeleteI sincerely agree with you guys, that man looks very honest, and he talks from the heart. I look at him and see a true leader who has the interest of the people at heart. Well, as a human, I can't actually say who's better, but from my own assessment, he stands to be the best amongst them all. I hope that God will select the best for this nation.
ReplyDeleteI'm still yet to see any one with true leadership qualities amongst the plethora of aspirants that are jostling for presidential seat in all the Political parties, including the ruling PDP, this is because they all possess some level of characters that doesn't depict of leaders that truly care for the well-being of their people.
ReplyDeleteTheir ambitions are centered on self gains, else, these APC members, if they want Nigerians to take them for truth, that they have better plans for this country, then they should prove it, by acting in accordance with the democratic ethics in their respective capacities. They make statements that make one question their integrity, starting from the Party Chairman, down to their political aspirants. I'm not a partisan, as I'm a staunch antagonist of PDP, because they are very corrupt, but is APC any better as well. Their governors are all very up-tight, and never abide by the rule of law, as was outlined by the constitution and the judiciary. They always resort to playing politics of bitterness, destructive criticisms, and the list is endless. In fact how would they want the Nigerian people to see them any different from the PDP that seem to have defaced the nations?
I still wonder, am seriously confused in the candidatures I've seen so far.
