Wow! history has been re-written, and records have been broken, that even amazed the Guinness World Records Representatives at the Uyo Township Stadium on Saturday, December 13, in Akwa Ibom State.

This particular day, the Akwa Ibom choral group made an all time and epic event, which has now surpassed the already set record by the a choral group from Bogota in Columbia that made a performance of Christmas Carol with 15,674 singers known as "CENTI" in December 2013.

At time, the Guinness World Book of Records, which is a journal that keeps the records of most amazing feats in the world, was present through some of its representatives, and it has been made a monumental record in history.

Today on the Guinness World Records website, this history made in Akwa Ibo, Nigeria by the Unity Choir is been inscripted in that book.

The Unity Choir was congratulated following the announcement made by the Guinness World Records, arbitrator, Liz Smith in London, in which she said  "The record to beat was 15,674. I can now confirm that your attempt to break the record has been successful. Congratulations on receiving a new Guinness World Records Title. The title of the largest group of carol singers has been achieved by Godswill Akpabio Unity Choir. You are officially amazing.”
