Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Promise To Vote Massively For President Goodluck #SupportGEJ2015

PRESIDENT JONATHAN RECEIVES URHOBO PROGRESS UNION IN ABUJA

The Urhobo clan- one of the major ethnic groups in the Delta State of Nigeria, through its body Urhobo Progress Union, (UPU) has made a solemn declaration known as 'Uvwiamuge Declaration'-meaning that whatever Urhobo people say is final.


This UPU through its declaration, stated their support to the candidacy of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GEJ) in the February 14th Presidential elections, and that they will do their best to vote him into power again.

Urhobo clan stated that even though none of its people emerged a gubernatorial candidate for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, but that would not deter to them in making sure that Goodluck Jonathan comes out victorious in the february 2015 polls. This statement was made by the President-General, Chief Joseph Omene of the UPU to Goodluck Jonathan when he led  few members of the group to a visit at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
