Olusegun Obasanjo, Files Appeal Against His Autobiography Confiscation By Abuja, High Court

Olusegun Obasanjo, Former President of Nigeria

The former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has filed an appeal suit against the High Court Judge, Justice Valentine Ashi, for the seizure of his written autobiography titled "My Watch".

Chief Obasanjo stated that he never in any away violated the court injunction just as some media units have wide alleged, rather, the Justice Ashi, who placed the injunction against the launch of his book, was not able to administer judgment of precision.

According to his legal adviser, Gboyega Oyewole, the autobiography "My Watch" had already been published earlier before the arrival of the Court's restraining order, so there wouldn't be any way he would be charged for the contempt of Court injunctions.
