Sydney Hostages Regain Freedom By Police Officers

Injured hostage victim rescued by the Police in New South Wales, Sydney

It was such a tragedy in Sydney, the Australian capital earlier today, following the freeing of several hostages by the men of the Police department in New South Wales.


These hostages were reported to have held captive for over 16 hours by an acclaimed Sheikh, who was well armed, and also has been known to have criminal records.  In the course of trying to let them regain their freedom by the Police men who were heavily armed, two of the hostages died, while four others sustained serious injuries due to the fierce gun battles that were being exchanged by the said hostage-taker and the police.

The 2 persons that died in the unfortunate event were a 38 year old woman and a 34 year old man, while their captor as well as their employee is said to be Man Haron Monis, and it wasn't confirmed if this Monis has any accomplice or he single handedly executed this dastardly act.

But at the time of this news, no report has been gotten whether he has been captured or not.
