Rolene Strauss, emerges the 2014 Miss World, held in London on Sunday, 14th December

Rolene Strauss, a South African medical student has just emerged the winner of the Miss World contest held in London on Sunday, the 14 of December, 2014.

In this world beauty pageant that had 120 beautiful contestants from various countries around the world, this beautiful Rolene, was very lucky to clinch the winner.  It was gathered that she is in her 4th year in the school of Medicine and surgery, and she also hailed from a home of medical practitioners, since her dad is a doctor, with her mom a nurse, Miss Rolene Strauss couldn't be anything less of Medical profession.

According to her statement after she won the Miss World 2014, as was relayed by Daily Mail Uk; She said;
 'Everyone in my town called me Little Dr Strauss,' she said. 'Because I was always the little curly-headed girl running around behind my dad in the hospital.
'I'm a test tube baby and I believe my passion for health was born with me."

Her bilingual status of being fluent in English and also in Afrikaans, would give her very strong edge over her fellow contestants in winning the beauty contest, since the game of this magnitude involves beauty as well as brains too.
